Home · Our story

A story of flavours,
people and welcome.

For over a decade we have brought the taste and warmth of Neapolitan tradition to Chiavari: sea and land cuisine, the oven always lit, and the desserts of always.

About us

Naples, brought to the table
on Corso Garibaldi.

Vera Napoli was born from the wish to bring to Chiavari a cuisine that tells the story of Naples through its aromas, its generosity and the pleasure of being together.

We have never seen ourselves as only a pizzeria. Fish, the classic first courses, land specialities and Neapolitan pastry share the same menu: some come in for a margherita and end up with a plate of scialatielli, while others book for a fish dinner and then can't resist the fried pizza.

Franco, our Master Pizzaiolo

Behind every one of our creations there is an extraordinary person: Franco, our Master Pizzaiolo. He has always devoted passion and commitment to his craft, with the humility and dedication of someone who deeply loves what he does.

But Franco is also the heart of Vera Napoli, a place that reflects his values: authenticity, transparency and care for people. Everything here is designed to make you feel welcome, at home, with the honesty of work done with the heart and with the hands.

The oven, and five ways to say pizza

The Neapolitan dough is our starting point, but not the only one: on the menu there's also genovese, wholemeal, five-grain and gluten-free, as well as the Roman pinsa. It's the simplest way we know to sit people with different tastes and needs at the same table.

A place for families

People come here with their children, their colleagues, their grandparents. The evenings are noisy in the right way, the tables stretch, and anyone who needs a gluten-free option finds something to really eat, not an afterthought.

How to book

The simplest way is to call us. If you have allergies or intolerances, or if you're a large group, tell us on the phone: we can organise ourselves much better.

We're waiting for you
